Ponte Sulla Baia.jpg

Sometimes it is okay to alter a painting

June 25, 2018

Ponte Sulla Baia was originally painted with a black bridge that connected the two bodies of land to the two bodies of water.  The perspective is a view as if you were flying over in a plane looking down at the roof tops and water.  I didn't like the way the original  abstract bridge looked so I altered it with the pink and shifted some of the colors of the rooftops.  I noticed in the original blog the painting appeared to have a blue tint to it.  In actuality it is the green you see.
