I painted this for my sister-in-law after the death of my brother. She told me the colors she liked are Yellow and Blue, and this is what developed. Both of us were navigating through some difficult times and a great deal of loss. If you look at it as if you were looking down from a plane, it would appear as if land and water meet then separate, creating both dead ends and beginnings.
